How to select water features that will inspire youPersonally, I've always found the sound and appearance of moving water to have wonderful calming effects - maybe it's a sense of being reconnected with nature that does the trick. Recapturing the sound of the 'bubbling brook' or waves breaking upon the shore is a great way to induce a more relaxed state of mind.
