Why use pond kits? Building your own pond and waterfall requires quality components, proper design and technique, and a fair amount of physical labor. The main advantage of using pond kits is that they are designed and sized to work together, which eliminates guesswork, experimentation and countless trips to the garden center or hardware store.

• pond liner (possibly with underlay)
• submersible pump
• check valve assembly
• flexible PVC pipe to connect pump outlet to the waterfall or fountain
• skimmer incorporating container for pump (is rock lid included?)
• waterfall unit or fountain head where water will re-enter your pond (is stone lip included?)
• silicon sealer
